What are the settlement periods?

All online transactions are settled over one working day settlement (T+1). We are unable to offer any extended settlement on our Internet accounts. If you are looking for extended settlement please check out our telephone trading accounts.

Can I settle from my own bank account or by credit card?

Due to the short settlement period, we can only offer an online service via settlement through a Stocktrade Deposit account. We do not accept credit card payments or direct debits on this account. All funds must be cleared in your Deposit account before they will be made available.

Can I re-invest sale proceeds immediately?

If the deal is executed online for the one-day settlement then your account will be credited with the proceeds and can be used immediately to re-invest.
